Q1: How is PCVS organized?

The Patient Centered Value System (PCVS) has a unique structure that ensures improvement work is successful and sustainable. There are three distinct layers: Leadership Champions, a Working Group and multiple Project Teams.

Leadership Champions:

  • Small, strategic group of organization leaders

  • Clinical and non-clinical

  • Initiate and support PCVS efforts within the organization

Working Group:

  • Consists of employees from each touchpoint along the experience pathway

  • Membership is consistent for at least one year

  • Meets monthly to hear updates from Project Teams

  • Facilitated by a Lead or Co-leads who report regularly to leadership

Project Teams:

· Meet independently of the Working Group

· Project Team Leads attend Working Group meetings to give updates

· Project Team members represent experience touchpoints
