A Big Welcome to Dr. Noelle Guthrie!

 
 

Noelle completed her medical school training at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) where she was a member of the  Sigma Phi Honorary Fraternity, which is based on academic achievement and dedication to community service. She completed her Orthopaedic Residency at PCOM where she developed a particular interest in Adult Reconstruction Surgery and was active in an array of clinical research efforts including examining gender specific disparities in the treatment on hip and knee arthritis.

Noelle recently concluded her fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction Surgery in the Magee’s Bone and Joint Center and is one of the only women in Western PA that has completed a fellowship in this sub-specialty. During her fellowship, she also played a leadership role in the Center for Bone and Joint Health and will continue in that role as she enters practice.

She is a member of the AAHKS, AAOS, POS, POMA, and the Ruth Jackson Orthopaedic Society. Noelle has a particular interest in the full spectrum of bone and joint health as well as identifying and reducing the disparities in care. She also travels with the Operation Walk Pittsburgh Team on their annual mission trips to Central America.
